Birder's World is an excellent magazine about bird that is published every other month. The Birder's World website has a page called Birding Basics which has a lot of information. The site also has a forum where you can share your photos of birds and ask questions. |

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is an excellent resource for birding information. The lab also sponsors bird-counting projects, including The Great Backyard Bird Count (which takes place every year in February) and eBird (which allows birders to submit their bird counts year-round). One of the most visited pages at the website is All About Birds, a wonderful site to begin research on for all bird lovers, from beginners to advanced bird watchers. |
